My first shot at blogging...

Apart from reading the occasional celebrity gossip blog, I don't really have any experience with blogs via reading them or participating in one. In short- I have no idea what I'm doing. Where I do find the celebrity blogs, such as perezhilton.com for example, highly entertaining, the education blogs will take a little more effort on my part to get into. From what I've viewed in the short time I've been looking, blogs relating to education can range between very wordy and informative posts reflecting and educating on issues and things happening within the education system to posts mostly containing pictures, links and videos. Where I find the video entries more entertaining, they're not always as informative on topics of interest and can take much longer to sift through. All in all, I'm hoping to learn how to spot a "good" blog from a "bad" one and further my knowledge on how to operate one myself.
